Sea life as Saltburn, North Yorkshire
Saltburn is one of those Victorian places build by someone wanting to escape from the industrial sprawl. To the left of this picture is an old fashioned pier. When we went today (August 2013) there was a selection of knitted art with a seaside theme. The pieces were sewn on to the top rail down one side of the pier.
It is often difficult to get soft toys to behave, so it comes as no surprise that some of the items needed a bit of help to be photographed. After all, it isn't easy being out in all weathers, particularly on a pier sticking out into the North Sea.
Anyway, enough talk. Here is the slide show. Some familiar patterns here I see!
