Banners
This depiction of village life is in the church at Crayke, North Yorkshire. Unfortunately, the light from the windows opposite the frame makes it difficult to photograph the whole set of banners together.
This looks like a community project. It hangs on the wall of a reconstructed Roman house at Wroxeter in Shropshire. Small pieces of hessian have been used to embroider animals. These pictures have then been tacked onto a larger piece of hessian.
